This is a list of commands that can be used by players and a description of what they do.

Default Commands

COMMAND	DESCRIPTION


.password	This allows you to change your password for the account you are logged into. You will not get any confirmation, and I suggest you remember what your password is. This can be used as often as you like.


.email	This allows you to enter/change the e-mail address associated with the account you are logged into. The RP shard REQUIRES all active accounts have a valid e-mail address.


.afk	This command is a 'mode' where your char displays a 'z' every few seconds while you are away. This is used just to let others know you are not at your keyboard at the moment. While in this mode, you cannot do anything, and you will exit this mode when you perform any action.


.sleep	The char feigns death. Your char lays down, appearing dead, and you assume a ghost form until you move again.


.detail	Toggles combat detail messages on/off.


.where	Gives the region name and map coordnates for your current location.


.helppage	Shows the Help gump, same as pressing 'HELP' on your PD.


.fix .fixz	Corrects the ground level for the area you are standing in.



Character Commands

.start	This is used to begin the char creation process for Alasiya. See the Creation Help page for more information.


.oldchar	If you have a character in the "Character Storage" area, you can use this command to return the character to the game. This area was used by me for saving characters while making changes in late 2003.


.options	Opens a gump which has some of the most-used character commands. Includes Level Status, Announce Death, Stat Lock Status, Chat System Status, and Profile.


.status	Opens a gump which has some details about your character. Includes Deaths, Kills, Fame, Karma, Food, Hits, Stamina, and Mana. Also has maximum values for Food, Hits, Stamina, and Mana.


.myage	This command will show you the current age of your char, in game time, and how long till your next birthday.


.birthday	This command will show you the birthday (start day) of your char, in game time.


.death	Gives you a running count of how many times this char has died.


.con	This command lets you 'consider' a target, either monster, player, or npc. It will give you an estimate of who is stronger. This is similar to the 'consider' command on EQ.


.myprofile	Enables you to enter a brief statement about your character for others to see. Can be anything you wish up to 80 chars long.


.profile	Will show you the current statement provided by other players when targeted on a player character, and will let you know if they have not entered anything yet. Can be used to find out the owner of a vendor.


.view	Used to view your own profile.


.petstats	You can use this command to enable/disable sysmessages when your pet raises in stats/skills.


.killcount	This command will show the current killcount for the char you are on.


.count	Gives a current online player count, including staff members, and a running total of the most players online at once.


.lock	Opens a menu that will allow you to lock your stats.


.kills	This is a creature kill counter. It will display a gump showing the total kills you are credited with, based on type of creature.


.stuck	This is for characters that believe they are stuck. By using this command, you can view avalible walking directions, if any. If this command shows you CAN NOT walk, then page for GM assistance.


.sort	This is for sorting the contents of your pack. It will present you with a menu for arranging the items in your backpack into groups of named bags.


.unsort	Opposite of the .sort command. Please use with caution... Removes ALL ITEMS from ALL CONTAINERS, and deletes the container.


.weight	This command will tell you the current weight (in stones) of the container targeted.


.bind	Is your Soul Bound? This command will let ya know.



Communication Commands

.chat	Brings up the Alasiya Chat menu, where you can enable or disable the avalible channels in the chat system. NOTE...ONLY STAFF can send/recieve msgs on the 'gm' and 'staff' channels.


.gossip	Gossip channel. When you have this channed enabled, you can use .gossip message to send message across the shard. Those that have this channed enabled will recieve your message.


.ic	IC channel. When you have this channed enabled, you can use .ic message to send message across the shard. Those that have this channed enabled will recieve your message.


.ooc	OOC channel. When you have this channed enabled, you can use .ooc message to send message across the shard. Those that have this channed enabled will recieve your message. This is a favorite of players on Alasiya, and sometimes needs to be turned off. smile


.hlp	HELP channel. When you have this channed enabled, you can use .hlp message to send message across the shard. Those that have this channed enabled will recieve your message.


.msg	The chat function for guild members. You must be in a guild for this command to work.



Optional Commands

.level	Opens the Alasiya level menu, where you can gain a new title, bump stats and skills, and see your current totals for fame, karma, experience, your current level, and your current title. You can choose to have your title shown on your PD, or turn leveling off totally and no longer gain xp's. Can also pass options "ON" or "OFF" to change status of your level system.


.exp	You can find out your current experience points and how many more you need for next level. It will show to only you, right over your head.


.expsys	Same as .exp except it shows as a system message rather than overhead.


.guild	This will display a list of your guild members who are ingame, and their location. You must be in a guild for this command to work.


.update	Command to set your account info and character stats for online viewing.



Unique Commands

.casino	If you are fully rested, this will tele you to the casino. This will NOT work if you are currently fighting or being attacked.


.map	Will bring up a small map of britannia with a red '><' above where you are. NOTE...If you are in the lost lands, or a dungeon, the map will not work, and will tell you it is not possible to display that area.


.staff	Generates an on-the-fly screen of current staff members ingame and gives their avalibility status.


.time	This command will tell you the current time of the region you are in.


.rltod	Gives you the Real-Life Time Of Day (according to the server).


.uptime	Gives you the Current server uptime, and Real-Life Time Of Day (according to the server).


.rename	With this command, you can rename containers.


.faq	Will produce a book of Alasiya's F.A.Q. and place in your backpack.


.jewelry	Menu to assist in removing those pesky rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.


.quitgame	Allows a character in the Unreal Game to reset the current game.


.regs	Gives a count of how many reagents you have on you.
